The Brand!!!

Last week, I had a English conversation test with my classmates. The following content is about my report.

I want to talk about the famous sports brand that is NIKE. There was a long story about it. At beginning, Bill Bowerman was a coach of track and field and Phil Knight was a runner for middle distance. Both of them were in the same college. Then, they decided to cooperate and establish" Blue Ribbon Sports" in 1964 because they wanted to manufacture the best sports shoes. In 1971, BRS decided to make a new name for their product, so Jeff Johnson who was a full-time staff came up with an idea. This idea was from the Goddness of Victory, NIKE. After several weeks, Phil Knight replace BRS with NIKE for thire company's name. The first ebdorser was Steve Prefontaine. He was a legend of track and field because he never lost any contests in the four-year of university. But he died in a car accident in 1975. NIKE found a new endorser in 1985. He was the great basketball player and let NIKE be known for all over the world. He was Michael Jordan. I like him very much, so he made me interest in NIKE.
